Served with D Co., 1st Eng. Bn., 1st IDF at Panzer Kaserne in Böblingen, Germany from May '88 to May '91. I participated in two major operations; Reforger '88 and Operation Desert Storm. On May 1st '91, it was the sadist day to watch, as their colors were encased. It was the last time D Co. was a combat arms unit.
